• Payment related communications: since supplier membership payments are made by Interac e Transfer, we may collect the sender's name and email address as shown on the transfer notification solely to match and confirm the payment. We do not collect or retain any banking information, account numbers, or transaction data beyond what is necessary to confirm that a payment has been sent.
• Correspondence: any information a user provides when contacting us directly (for example, by email).

We do not collect any information from buyers who browse the directory.

Buyers may browse supplier listings without creating an account or submitting personal information.

• We do not use cookies, web beacons, or similar tracking technologies to monitor visitor behavior.
• We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
• We do not create user profiles or engage in behavioral advertising.
• We do not process payments directly and do not store any payment card or banking information; all supplier payments are made independently through Interac e Transfer.

The information we collect is used solely to:

• Publish and maintain supplier directory listings;
• Communicate with suppliers and buyers regarding their account, listing, or inquiry;
• Confirm receipt of membership payments sent by Interac e Transfer;
• Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.

We retain supplier listing content for as long as the listing remains active on the platform, plus a reasonable period afterward to address disputes or legal requirements.

Contact information and payment confirmation information are retained only as long as necessary to administer the applicable membership plan, after which they are deleted or anonymized.

We do not retain browsing data because none is collected.

We intentionally limit the personal information we collect in order to reduce risk.

Access to supplier and account information is restricted to personnel who require it to operate the platform.

Although no method of storage or transmission is completely secure, we implement reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the limited amount of data we maintain.

Supplier listings and pages may contain links to third party websites.

OOCanada.ca is not responsible for the privacy practices of external websites and encourages users to review the privacy policies of any third party sites they visit.

For users in Canada, this Policy is intended to comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for Quebec residents, the Act Respecting the Protection of Personal Information in the Private Sector as amended by Bill 25.

Canadian users have the right to:

• Request deletion of information we no longer require for the purposes described above;

Users in the EEA/United Kingdom have the right to access, correct, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of their personal information, as well as the right to data portability, subject to applicable exceptions.

Users may also lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

As a Canadian company processing limited listing and contact information internationally, any cross border transfer of personal information is carried out with appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable laws.

OOCanada.ca is a Canadian platform designed to connect Canadian suppliers with buyers worldwide.

Because we collect minimal personal information and do not track visitors, the practical privacy impact on international buyers who browse the directory is limited to the information they choose to submit directly to us.
