OOCanada.ca - Acceptable Use Policy

1. PURPOSE

This Acceptable Use Policy supplements the OOCanada.ca Terms & Conditions and sets out specific rules for listings, accounts, and conduct on the platform. It applies to all suppliers and buyers using OOCanada.ca.

2. PROHIBITED LISTING CONTENT

Suppliers may not list, advertise, or promote:
⦁ Illegal goods or services, or goods requiring licenses the supplier does not hold;
⦁ Counterfeit, replica, or unauthorized branded products;
⦁ Weapons, ammunition, explosives, or restricted dual-use industrial goods without proper authorization disclosed;
⦁ Hazardous materials without proper safety documentation and applicable regulatory compliance;
⦁ Content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or that misrepresents the supplier’s identity, location, or capabilities;
⦁ Content that infringes another party’s intellectual property, trademarks, or copyrighted material.

3. PROHIBITED CONDUCT

⦁ Creating multiple accounts to misrepresent a single business as several independent suppliers;
⦁ Scraping, harvesting, or automated extraction of directory data, listings, or contact information;
⦁ Attempting to bypass, disable, or interfere with the security or normal operation of the platform;
⦁ Using the platform to send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to buyers or other suppliers;
⦁ Impersonating OOCanada.ca staff or another business;
⦁ Submitting fraudulent payment confirmations or falsely disputing a confirmed payment.

4. CONSEQUENCES OF VIOLATIONS

Consistent with Section 11 of our Terms & Conditions, OOCanada.ca reserves the unrestricted right to reject, edit, suspend, disable, or terminate any listing or account that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, at its sole discretion and without prior notice. Fees already paid remain non-refundable in cases of policy violation, consistent with our Payment & Refund Disclaimer.

5. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

Suspected violations of this policy by another user can be reported to support@oocanada.ca. OOCanada.ca will review reports at its discretion but does not guarantee a specific investigation timeline or outcome.

OOCanada.ca reserves the right to update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Updated versions become effective immediately upon publication on the website.
